An early-1800s dwelling, returned to its ancient splendour
Villa Piceni is an ancient dwelling of the early 1800s located in Belgirate, a lovely village in the province of Verbania. After five generations and more than a century, the current owners have brought it back to its ancient splendour with a demanding renovation that combines tradition and modernity.
Its beautiful large halls with panoramic views of Lake Maggiore, and the inner courtyard surrounded by a lovely Italian garden, make Villa Piceni the perfect frame for those who wish to organise events in an impressive old-world atmosphere with every modern comfort.

The adjoining air-conditioned halls on the ground floor host buffet dinners and seated lunches, while the inner courtyard, overlooking the private garden, is ideal for an aperitif or open-air dining in the warm season.
The original kitchen of the historic Hotel Borromeo has been restored into a dining room with its original marble sinks, connected to the old vaulted pantry — today a wide, fully equipped modern kitchen that fits perfectly into the period atmosphere.

Only three hundred metres from Villa Piceni's garden, on a picturesque promontory, stands the lovely 12th-century Romanesque church, whose paintings of the school of Luini make it highly sought after for weddings.
